Good morning !
Rumi says, *”Be a lamp, a lifeboat , a ladder. Help someone’s soul heal. Walk out of your house like a shepherd. “*
As I read these poetic words, I was overwhelmed by a deep feeling of gratitude. These beautiful words touched my heart and my soul as I remembered the Angels in human form who have helped heal my soul, especially in the turbulent times of my life. I have been fortunate enough to find lamps lighting my path, lifeboats preventing me from drowning and ladders helping me climb higher and higher. There have been wonderful people in my life holding my hand in difficult times, or just being there for me in crises. I had tears of Gratitude in my eyes as these memories were rekindled.
I hope and pray that I too, am permitted to be a lamp or a lifeboat or a ladder for someone in distress; that I can walk out of my house like a shepherd !
